A Universal Invisible Church?

  1. God’s ppl != God’s Family. God’s People and Family are different and non related things. A person can be part of God’s family without being part of God’s people.
  1. The Church is often related and referenced as “the people of God”. And although the same should be to all “children of God” because of the Baptism requirements, as the statement declares, it is not. Here you can find 2 positions:
  1. Does being saved implies that a person is part of the church?
  1. No, The Bible establishes clearly that the Baptism is the way to enter into a church membership. Further elaboration.
  1. Does being part of the church implies that a person is saved?
  1. No, Judas was part of the people that Jesus had, he was a disciple but he was probably not saved. Jesus explain this Mat 13.24-43 (ye and wheat);
  1. The Church is not composed from all the saved persons.
  1. The Baptism is the method biblically indicated to join Christ church and it’s a need for this process.
  1. The observed pattern established by all saved persons in the new testament obeying the mandate of Baptism. Clearly denotes the baptism as a requirement to be part of the church.
